I'm Laramie County Commissioner Brian Lovett.

After thirty-five years of service on governmental appointed boards, Elected Board of Supervisors, and Nongovernmental Boards of Directors I had decided to run for election to the Laramie County Board of County Commissioners. The resignation of Commissioner Ash accelerated my plan and soon I was one of fifteen applicants in front of the Laramie County Republican Party Central Committee. Having been selected as one of three nominees forwarded to the Laramie County Commissioners for appointment to fill this vacant term, I was sworn in to serve on the commission on March 25th.
My strong background in administration, environmental and natural resource management has been an excellent match for the fiscal and policy challenges the commission faces regularly. Leaders with relevant experience in management and decision making at a county level are essential in these extremely challenging times. I can continue to apply my thirty-five years of experience in policy and problem solving to serve the people of Laramie County.
